There’s the hype surrounding the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones. With the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 support pages now live on Samsung’s UAE website, the official launch is expected shortly. In the first quarter of 2021, Galaxy A51 was one of the company’s best-selling smartphone, and it was also the best-selling Android smartphone in the world (via Strategy Analytics). Now, the company is preparing to release its replacement, which may include a 5G version as well.
The Galaxy A52 is going to be dropping 5G flavor within the UAE while the Galaxy A72 is probably going to stay to a 4G chip. This confirms the previous leaks, hinting at Samsung likely to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset for the 4G variants and therefore the Snapdragon 750G chip for the 5G variants. From the official renders, both the phones look no different than the outgoing models – the bezel-less design with a punch-hole camera cutout stays at this point.
In India, however, Samsung is predicted to only bring the 4G variants of those phones during a bid to stay the prices in check. let’s see. According to rumors, Samsung will use the Snapdragon 720G chip in all 4G Galaxy A52 and A72 models. Compared to the Galaxy A51, these phones could command a better tag this year.
The Galaxy A52 is predicted to feature a 1080p AMOLED display measuring 6.5-inches. The rear camera system is predicted to urge a 64-megapixel sensor for most cameras. there’s also expected to be a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. The battery is claimed to stay to a 4500mAh unit and should support 25W fast charging. Of course, no wireless charging support. The Galaxy A72, meanwhile, is claimed to urge a 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display. The battery capacity is claimed to be upgraded to a 5000mAh unit while the front camera will use a 32-megapixel sensor.
The prices of the Galaxy A51 were revealed in a Galaxy Club article, but keep in mind that these are European prices. Prices in India are likely to differ slightly. According to the survey, the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost 369 euros (roughly Rs 32,700). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is said to cost 429 euros, which converts to around Rs 38,000 in India. The 4G model of the Samsung Galaxy A72 is likely to be priced at EUR 449 (roughly Rs. 39,400).
